It Started With a Conviction...

Be The Glory Project was born out of a moment in God’s Word that we could not ignore.

While walking through a Bible reading plan with our ministry, Be God’s Glory, we began noticing something throughout Scripture: God consistently calls His people to remember and care for those who are often overlooked; the impoverished, widows, orphans, and those in prison.

The more we read, the stronger the conviction became.

We had to ask ourselves:

If this matters so much to God, what are we doing about it?

That question became the beginning of Be The Glory Project.

Who We Are

Founded by Anisha and Merrill Tolbert, Be The Glory Project is a Christ-centered outreach ministry dedicated to sharing the Gospel and restoring hope to the overlooked and forgotten.

Joined by Taylor Barnes, whose heart for serving others aligned with the mission, we are building a ministry centered on service, evangelism, discipleship, and genuine relationship.

Rooted in James 1:27, we serve the impoverished, widows, orphans, and incarcerated by meeting practical needs while walking alongside people with compassion and dignity.

More Than Meeting a Need

We believe transformation goes beyond providing temporary assistance.

Through outreach, mentorship, discipleship, practical resources, and Christ-centered relationships, our prayer is to see lives transformed physically and spiritually, helping people experience hope, dignity, purpose, and the love of Jesus Christ.

Our faith in Jesus motivates everything we do, but our service is never conditional upon someone's faith or background. We serve all with compassion and dignity while faithfully sharing the hope of the Gospel.

No One Should Feel Forgotten.

When we serve those God calls us to remember, He receives the glory.
